Dan began his career as an associate in a busy downtown Boston law firm where he was exposed to a wide variety of civil matters, including commercial and divorce litigation. In the evenings, he worked to obtain an LL.M. degree in taxation.
In 1981, he was hired as an associate to do tax work and some litigation at a four-lawyer firm eventually known as Kassler & Feuer, P.C.
It wasn't long before his litigation practice subsumed his tax practice. In 1984 he became a partner in the firm, which would eventually grow to 33 lawyers. He served as head of the firm’s litigation department for 8 years.
Since 1999, he has been self-employed as a sole practitioner with a growing collaborative practice, primarily in family law.
"My goal is to develop a relationship built on mutual trust and respect. I take my role as counselor seriously - in listening to you, addressing your needs and concerns, and advising you."
