Professional Background

I began my career as an associate in a busy downtown Boston law firm where I was exposed to a wide variety of civil matters, with an emphasis on commercial and divorce litigation. In the evenings, I worked to obtain my LL.M degree in taxation.

In 1981, I was hired as an associate to do tax work and some litigation at the four-lawyer firm eventually known as Kassler & Feuer, P.C. It wasn't long before my litigation practice subsumed my tax practice. In 1984 I became a partner of the firm, which would eventually grow to 33 lawyers. I served as head of the firm’s litigation department for many years.

Since 1999, I have been self-employed as a solo practitioner.
